Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:$AAPL) has received a search warrant in order to have access to the digital photos, emails, and other documents on the iPhone SE that was used by the gunman in a Texas church mass shooting that killed 27 people.

Devin Patrick Kelley went into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs on November 5 and started shooting. After killing 27 people, he then shot himself. Texas Rangers are seeking to access data on Kelley’s iPhone SE in local and in iCloud information, according to reports.

In a similar altercation between Apple and the FBI, in 2015, authorities required access to the iPhone used by the San Bernadino shooter. In this case, despite the court order, Apple refused to help unlock the attacker’s phones.
