Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has officially launched its Discovery+ streaming service in Canada through the Amazon (AMZN) Prime Video platform.
Prime subscribers can now sign up for the ad-free version of Discovery+ for $6.99 per month, Warner Bros. said in a written statement.
Discovery+ was launched last year in Canada on platforms such as Apple TV and other Apple and Google devices. This is the first time it is available on Amazon Prime.
Discovery+ includes more than 60,000 episodes of current and classic television shows from its popular networks such as Animal Planet and TLC. Popular shows on Discovery+ include Hell’s Kitchen and Bering Sea Gold, among others.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s stock is down 57% this year and trading at $10.89 U.S. per share.
