In trading on July 21, shares of Wells Fargo’s (NYSE:$WFC) 6.375% Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A (WFE.PRA) crossed the 6% yield mark based on its quarterly dividend, with shares changing hands as low as $26.40. According to Preferred Stock Channel, this compares to an average yield mark of 5.45% in the “Financial” preferred stock division. At last close, WFE.PRA traded at a 6.64% premium to its liquidation preference amount, versus the average premium of 7.26% in the “Financial” division.
