At $86,090, the new vehicle from Fiat Chrysler’s (NYSE:$FCAU) Dodge division may seem a little pricey at first. But considering what it has to offer, consumers are actually getting quite a deal.

Dodge revealed its highly-anticipated new muscle car, named the Dodge Demon, on Tuesday, May 23. The Demon carries an impressive 840 horsepower that allows the car to speed up from 0 to 60 miles per hour (mph) in only 2.3 seconds. Quarter mile time is reported to be 9.65 seconds. The Demon also has a driving mode that is dedicated to drag racing, along with the fact that it is the first factory produced car to sport street legal drag tires — no doubt come of the most exciting selling point for many muscle car and street racing enthusiasts. Besides that, the car also supports what the automaker called a “forced induction” system.

Another monumental achievement that the Dodge Demon reached is its weight: it is about 215 pounds less than a 707 hp Dodge Hellcat. But with a great engine, this low weight comes at a price: the Dodge Demon does not include a passenger seat, nor a rear bench seat. But this may perhaps be a win to some — with so many good drag racing features in the car, drivers may be better off having just themselves in the vehicle.

To round out the Demon’s exciting features, Dodge also introduced the Demon Crate, which transforms the Demon from a regular muscle car to an all-out drag racing car. The Crate will carry 18 parts that — when assembled — readies the Demon for the drag strip. It will include performance parts, track tools, spare wheels, and more.

Dodge plans to produce around 3,000 Demons for the U.S. market, and 300 for the Canadian market. At less than $100,000 with such phenomenal elements, the Demon may become the it car for muscle car enthusiasts this year.
