Disney CEO to Extend Tenure Past 2019

Disney CEO

It was reported that Walt Disney’s (NYSE:DIS) CEO Bob Iger will most likely be extending his tenure past 2019.

This decision is likely so that the integration of Twenty-First Century Fox’s (NASDAQ:FOX) assets with Disney can be properly facilitated.

While Disney is in the lead to acquire the majority of Twenty-First Century Fox’s media empire, Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is still in on the negotiations, as far as we know.

Disney has yet to comment on the situation.
