Intel to Launch Advanced Performance Data Center Platform

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) has launched its most advanced to date, highest performance data center platform that is optimized to power the industry’s broadest range of workloads.  This ranges from the cloud to the network to the intelligent edge.  3 rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors are the base of Intel’s data center platform that will enable customers to take advantage on some of the most significant business opportunities today by leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence.

The 3 rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors leverage Intel 10 nanometer process technology that deliver up to 40 cores per processor and up to 2.65 times higher in average performance gain compared with a 5 year old system.  It will have built in AI acceleration, security and crypto acceleration.

The Scalable Processors will also delivery flexible capabilities across Cloud, Networking and Intelligent Edge environments.
