Three New iPhones Expected in September, Here’s What We Know!

three new iPhones

According to Bloomberg, Apple (NASDAQ:APPL) is expected to announce three new iPhones at an upcoming press event in September. No date has been set in stone yet, but historically the tech giant unveils new phones in early September.

Three New iPhones

The new phones can be considered a continuation of the iPhone X’s edge to edge screen design. Taking inspiration from that model, the three new iPhone models include:

  • A 5.8-inch display model that is similar in size to the iPhone X;
  • A huge 6.5-inch display model—the largest display ever put on an iPhone;
  • There will also be a more affordable model that will have a still-impressive, 6.1-inch screen.

6.5-inch Screen

The new phone will give the iPhone X a run for its money. The huge 6.5-inch display will be an OLED screen and the phone will include a high-capacity battery that incorporates a new two-cell design created by Korean supplier LGC.

This battery will translate to users as a much longer battery life.

Face ID

Face ID will be a key feature across this range. Face ID is an unlocking feature that allows the user to unlock their phone by simply looking at it. This will replace the current fingerprint reader. Face ID is also an addition to new iPad Pros, which are also expected in the Fall.

Colors

The iPhones will be available in different colors, but whether they are different than it’s current spectrum of Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Black, and White remains to be seen.

Conclusion

Apple is now the world’s most valuable company, boasting a massive 1.3 billion active user-base. The three new iPhones due next month may just boost that number further. Are you excited for them? Will you be lining the streets to get your hands on one?
