Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey aren’t the only ones being shunned by Hollywood. Over the weekend, a prolific Warner Brothers executive producer was suspended after 19 different women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment.
Andrew Kreisberg, who works on TV shows like ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Arrow’, was placed on temporary suspension by Warner Brothers after staffers claimed he sexually harassed women for years.
“We have recently been made aware of allegations of misconduct against Andrew Kreisberg,” Warner Bros. said in a statement. “We have suspended Mr. Kreisberg and are conducting an internal investigation. We take all allegations of misconduct extremely seriously, and are committed to creating a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions.”
Variety was the first to report the allegations against Kreisberg, which range from inappropriate touching to general sexual harassment with degrading comments.
Despite the number of women who have come forward, Kreisberg strongly denies the allegations.
Here’s what Kreisberg had to say:
“I have made comments on women’s appearances and clothes in my capacity as an executive producer, but they were not sexualized. Like many people, I have given someone a non-sexual hug or kiss on the cheek.”
For those who don’t know, Warner Brothers is owned by Time Warner, Inc. (NYSE:$TWX)
