Get ready for some big news, Instagram (NASDAQ:$FB) lovers! Are you listening? Thanks to a new update, users are now able to add tags to Instagram galleries after they’ve been posted. Finally!

According to an Instagram spokesperson, the new feature is already available on the iPhone but one might have to update their app to see it. The spokesperson also said that it will roll out to Android users very soon. If you’re late to the party, Instagram galleries are a feature that debuted earlier in 2017, and one that solved the problem of how to share multiple pictures at once without spamming someone’s entire feed.  

The problem with the feature was that Instagram galleries didn’t allow you to tag people in your gallery photos after you had posted them. Therefore, it’s fair to say that the release of this new feature is a cause for celebration – at least in the world of social media.
