On Tuesday, September 12, Apple (NASDAQ:$AAPL) unveiled the new Apple Watch Series 3.

Not only is this the latest Apple Watch, it also includes a massive new feature: cellular connectivity. Cellular connectivity will allow users to send messages and receive phone calls even if an iPhone is not nearby. According to Apple, your Apple Watch Series 3 number will be the same number that you use on an iPhone. You will also be able to stream music.

Even though the Apple Watch Series 3 has a striking resemblance to the earlier Apple Watch, there is a red dot on the Digital Crown to let users know it’s the newer model.

Additionally, Apple stated that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are 50% more efficient to help save on battery life. They also said the Watch Series 3 has a new barometric sensor for better detecting flights of stairs. We also know that Apple used the display of the watch to act as an antenna, and that the watch includes GPS and is waterproof. The tech giant promises up to 18 hours of battery life.

During the announcement, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, announced that the device is the number one watch in the world. According to the company, the Apple Watch is the most-used heart-tracker in the world and it has the ability to notify users when it detects an elevated heart rate whenever a user is not active. He also mentioned that customer satisfaction is at 97%.

Currently, the device will launch in new finishes, which includes a new gray ceramic option, as well as new brands from Nike (NYSE:$NKE) and Apple.  Two versions of the Apple Watch Series 3 will launch, including one without cellular connectivity at $329 and a Series 3 with cellular at $399. In addition, the Apple Watch Series 1 will be downgraded to $249.

Orders will commence September 15 with availability as early as September 22.
