Apple Won’t Be Bringing iTunes to Windows 10 This Year After All

Apple Won't Be Bringing iTunes to Windows 10

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) was supposed to bring the iTunes app to the Windows 10 store this year, but it looks like the company is going to miss its deadline.

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) had hoped to see the app become available in its store “by the end of this year” so that Windows users would be able to easily access iTunes, but something seems to have been stalled. Neither company has commented on what is causing the delay.

“We have been working with Microsoft to deliver the full iTunes experience to our customers and we need a little more time to get it right,” was all that Apple has currently said on the matter.

There hasn’t been an updated timeline on when iTunes will be arriving in the Windows 10 store since the initial announcement made by Microsoft at its Build developer event earlier in the year.
