Are you an AT&T (NYSE:$T) Unlimited Choice customer? If so, you can now get a subscription to HBO as part of your plan!

On Tuesday, September 12, AT&T announced on a blog post that its Unlimited Choice customers are now eligible for access to the premium cable and satellite network. This is significant news as the subscription includes unlimited talk, data, and texting capabilities. Further, for an additional $10, Unlimited Choice customers can get access to DIRECTV NOW’S “Live a Little” plan, which includes 60+ lives streaming channels as well as 25,000 on demand titles.

If you are an Unlimited Choice customer who is currently subscribed to AT&T’s video services, you will get HBO for free. However, if you don’t use services like DIRECTV or DIRECTV NOW, you will get HBO via DIRECTV NOW and HBO GO apps.

What brought on this deal? Well, many speculate it is a sign of things to come from the forthcoming AT&T – Time Warner merger. For those who don’t know, AT&T agreed to buy Time Warner (NYSE:$TWX) for a whopping $85 billion in October of 2016.

Before, only AT&T Unlimited Plus subscribers got HBO for free. The plan starts at $100 with DIRECTV NOW and $115 with DIRECTV, and it includes unlimited talk, text, and data. Additionally, the plan includes upgrade options and a $25 video credit.
