North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un Calls Trump a ‘Mentally Deranged Dotard’

North Korea

And the war of the words continues — Kim Jong Un just called out President Donald Trump. On Thursday, September 21, the North Korean dictator said Trump’s United Nations address on Tuesday was “unprecedented rude nonsense.”

In a statement which circulated on KCNA, a state news agency, Kim Jong Un – who Trump refers to as the ‘Rocket Man’ – said the following:

“The mentally deranged behavior of the U.S. president openly expressing on the UN arena the unethical will to ‘totally destroy’ a sovereign state, beyond the boundary of threats of regime change or overturn of social system, makes even those with normal thinking faculty think about discretion and composure.”

Kim urged Trump to “exercise prudence in selecting words.” He is clearly referring to Trump’s harsh warning to Pyongyang on Tuesday, in which he threatened to “destroy” the communist nation if it made any sort of threat to the United States.

Further, Kim stated that the president’s remarks at the U.N. warrant the “highest level of hard-line countermeasure in history.” Like many citizens around the globe, Kim said he is “thinking hard” about what sort of reaction Trump could have expected when he delivered such remarks on Tuesday.

“Whatever Trump might have expected, he will face results beyond his expectation,” the dictator announced.

Kim Jong Un ended his Thursday statement by saying he will “surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire.” He also called Trump a “rogue and gangster fond of playing with fire, rather than a politician.”

Based on this week’s comments from both leaders, it appears the situation and the tension are continuing to get worse. We can only hope it does not lead to a nuclear war.
