If you are interested in online media investing, you might find today’s news interesting. Google (NASDAQ:$GOOGL) has two new Pixel smartphones – the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL – coming out, and the California-based company plans to release full details on the smartphones at an event on October 4th.

As we move closer to the date, Droid Life published on Tuesday new images of the larger, LG-made smartphone. Apparently, the Pixel 2 XL will be available in two colors at launch: there is a black version, which has a striking resemblance to the original Pixel, and a new white/black combo that features a black rear glass pane. Further, the power button on the white Pixel 2 XL is colored orange.

According to Droid Life, the Pixel 2 XL will start at $849 for 64GB of storage. However, if you want 128GB, the price for the Pixel 2 XL is bumped up to $949. And while the latter price point brings Google — which is owned by Alphabet, Inc. — right up against the $1,000 mark, it is very likely that, after sales tax, you will end up going over it. However, similar to the original Pixel, Google plans to offer monthly financing to help spread that investment out over the course of 24 months. The Pixel 2 XL, with 64GB, will be $35.38 each month, while the 128GB version will be marginally higher at $39.54 a month.

So what do we know about the features of the Pixel 2 XL? Well, the smartphone is forecast to have a 6-inch OLED screen as well as Qualcomm’s (NASDAQ:$QCOM) Snapdragon 835 processor. Additionally, many speculate that Google will make Google Lens a primary focus of these smartphones in order to help differentiate them from the lineup of this year’s flagship competition.
