It’s finally here, or should I say, A[?]t’s finally here. On Thursday, Apple (NASDAQ:$AAPL) rolled out an iOS upgrade that fixed a keyboard bug that infected users who tried to type the letter “i”. If you’re suffering from this problem, don’t worry – the update is available now.
The malfunction impacted users who updated their iPhones, iPods, and iPads to iOS 11.1. It seems that half the internet upgraded their devices, as users took to social media to empathize with one another over their suffering. The malfunction autocorrected “i” to an uppercase A followed by a question mark enclosed around it in a box.
To update your phone, go to the software update section under general in your settings. From there, click install. You can also update your devices from your iTunes account.
Before today, Apple had suggested that users update their keyboard settings for the letter “i” as a quick fix.
