Apple Users Report Yet Another Problem With the iPhone X

Have you heard the latest scandal surrounding the iPhone X?

First, there was the Autocorrect glitch that changed the letter “i” into some weird concoction, which featured the letter A and a box that surrounded it. Now, Apple (NASDAQ:$AAPL) users are reporting that the screen of the iPhone X – which costs $1,000 – becomes unresponsive when temperatures go south.

Don’t worry though, Apple lovers – the Cupertino, California-based company is aware of the problem and has announced that they are preparing a software fix.

“We are aware of instances where the iPhone X screen will become temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment. After several seconds the screen will become fully responsive again,” the tech giant said over the weekend. “This will be addressed in an upcoming software update.”

While it is still unknown as to what parts of the globe this problem occurs, Apple is hoping the issue is not widespread as the weather has just started to get colder in large parts of the world.

One user wrote on Reddit: “As someone who spends a lot of time skiing, this is a deal breaker if it’s a widespread issue.”

Until the software fix is rolled out, Apple suggests that iPhone X users use the device when the temperature is between 32 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
