Despite Rumors of a Delay, KGI Analyst Says the iPhone 8 Will Launch in September

iPhone 8 Will Launch in September

Based on the latest report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, if you want to purchase the upcoming iPhone 8, you are going to need to do it as soon as it goes on sale.

According to Kuo, who has been following the journey of the iPhone 8 all year, the phone will be revealed and launched at the same time as the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.

For months we have been hearing that the iPhone 8 will be delayed, so today’s news is a breath of fresh air for tech lovers. However, Kuo did warn the public that the upcoming iPhone will be in tight supply, with roughly 2 million to 4 million units available, according to AppleInsider, which got access to the note.

With that being said, it’s not unusual for Apple’s (NASDAQ:$AAPL) new iPhones to sell out of stock after they go on sale. In fact, sometimes it takes weeks or even months for additional supply to become available. One might remember that this was the case earlier this year when Apple unveiled the iPhone 7 Plus.

While the iPhone 8 might be hard to get your hands on at first, Kuo says Apple will increase production in order to manufacture 45 million to 50 million iPhone 8 units in 2017, according to AppleInsider.

In addition, Kuo said the iPhone 8 will launch in the following colors: black, silver, and gold.

Overall, this is significant news for Apple fanatics and anyone interested in computer hardware.
