For those who follow along with the latest computer hardware technology, you probably know that there have been a number of reports circulating the market which state that there is a constrained supply of the iPhone X (otherwise referred to as the iPhone 10) ahead of its November 3rd launch. However, tech giant Apple (NASDAQ:$AAPL) announced on Tuesday that its retail stores will in fact have the device in stock on day one for walk-in customers.
Well, it will be in stock for the first few people to walk in, anyway. According to Apple’s press release, anyone hoping to walk into their local Apple Store and walk out with an iPhone X on November 3rd is “encouraged to arrive early.” What does this mean? Well, for starters, the lines of optimistic iPhone buyers camping overnight are likely to make a massive comeback.
Despite the reports, it is nice to see that the Cupertino, California-based company is confirming that its brick-and-mortar retail stores will have at least some iPhone X stock to go around. In the past, there have been a number of new iPhone models that have sold out from preorders, thus making them unavailable for walk-in buyers on release day.
Keep in mind the iPhone X will be up for preorder as of 12:01 AM PT on Friday, October 27th from both Apple and authorized resellers. Further, at Apple’s stores, the iPhone X will go on sale at 8:00 AM local time on November 3rd.
