Google Expanding Manufacturer Center for Product Data

Google Expanding Manufacturer Center

Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is expanding its Manufacturer Center, which should help to produce more concise product data for its increasing Google Shopping campaigns.

The Google Manufacturer Center produces data for Google Shopping campaigns. With this expansion of the Center, there will be more data linked to product features, images, and descriptions, especially in mobile versions.

With more countries added to the Google Manufacturer Center, more brands and third-party data partners will be able to add, update, and delete products.

There will also be analytics provided by the Manufacturer Center. This analytics will show the overall impressions for each category, how much the product is appearing in the impressions, and how many clicks per product. The Manufacturer Center analytics will also be capable of comparing the click-through rate with category benchmarks.
