Have you seen Google’s new advertising campaign and official landing page? If not, you should think about checking it out, because it’s major news. On October 4, Google (NASDAQ:$GOOGL) will be launching the Pixel 2, the successor to its Pixel smartphone.
Tech lovers have been waiting for this moment; there have been rumors surrounding the new Pixel 2 smartphone for months now, and some even suggest that it will use a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM. Additionally, Google’s new smartphone will have ‘squeezable’ pressure sensitive sides, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance.
What’s it going to look like? Well, thanks to the leaks in Android Oreo, there is going to be a new always-on display, which strikes a resemblance to the one found in Samsung’s (OTCMKTS:$SSNLF) Galaxy S8 and Note 8.
But wait, there’s more. The Pixel 2 is thought to be coming in a standard and an XL version, which is similar to the original released in 2016. However, the XL version of the Pixel 2 is said to have extra features on the top of its 6-inch display.
There will be more information on the Pixel 2 in less than a month. Until then, start your countdown!
