Netflix Starts Using Its Entertainment Data As a Way of Entertaining Us

Netflix

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) has always been hush-hush about its viewership data, but lately, they’ve started opening up a little about it in the form of a witty tweet meant for our entertainment.

The tweet went viral, with over 200,000 likes; it was the third-most-liked tweet from the past month.

Netflix likely got its idea about poking fun at its viewership data from Spotify (private). Spotify has been known to make similar remarks in regards to its viewership data. For example, the music streaming company put up a billboard last year in November: “Dear person who played ‘Sorry’ 42 times on Valentine’s Day: What did you do?”

Reaction to Netflix’s tweet was overall positive. I wonder what ridiculous data information Netflix will spring at us next?
