Interestingly, President Donald Trump’s approval numbers have significantly improved since finalizing a spending deal with congressional Democrats, terminating an Obama-era immigration action and playing a defining role amongst storms and flooding in recent weeks.
According to an NBC and Wall Street Journal poll released on Thursday, September 21, Trump has a 43% approval rating. As a point of reference, this is 3 points higher than it was in August.
Likewise, on Wednesday, there was a Politico and Morning Consult poll released to the public which indicates that Trump has 43% approval rating, which is up from 39% last month, when Trump was scrutinized over his response to the violent white supremacist rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia.
In its analysis of its poll, Politico wrote: “It’s impossible to attribute Trump’s small uptick in the polls to any or all of these events. His recovery is modest at best…But the data suggests that Trump, now at the eight-month mark of his presidency, has at least arrested the gradual decline that plagued him for the first seven of those months. ”
