Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) messed up. Not in a terrible way, but they ruined their own surprise. On Friday, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 details were released, and they weren’t supposed to be. The phone has yet to be announced.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Details Released
Samsung’s website in New Zeland published a video Friday that featured the soon-to-be-announced Galaxy Note 9 device. Once it was spotted, the company removed the video. But that didn’t stop the video from resurfacing on Youtube.
Since the first Note phone was launched seven years ago, the company has developed a huge Galaxy Note fanbase. So it’s no surprise that when the video was accidentally released, it was shared worldwide.
Here is what we know about the released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 details.
- The Galaxy Note 9 will have the ‘S Pen’ stylus.
- The video suggests the company may be selling a model that has more than 500 gigabytes of storage.
The Actual Launch of the Phone
The Galaxy Note 9 launch is set to take place next week, on Thursday, August 9th.
The event will be in Brooklyn, New York, and more information on the device will be provided at that time.
Samsung Going Above and Beyond
Samsung isn’t just focusing on developing new phones. In fact, back in April, it was disclosed that it was thinking about getting into blockchain technology. Why? Well, according to the company, the technology could help them when it comes to tracking global shipments.
Bloomberg even reported that the company is working on a distributed ledger. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t mind if some more of those details were released, rather than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 details.
The Takeaway
Are you a fan of the Galaxy Note phones? Will you be watching next week for further details to be released to the masses?
